Ashmole Academy encourage all parents to download the My Child at School app (MCAS) on their child’s first day. The app is free and helps to provide the most up to date communication with parents and saves the school money being paperless.

Once your child is on roll at Ashmole Academy, please download the app to your mobile phone.

The MCAS App will allow parents and carers to see information about their child’s Attendance and Behaviour and will also be used for communication between the school and parents.

The app offers a range of information about your child including:

• Attendance

• Punctuality

• Reports

• Achievement

• Timetable

• Personal details

Messages can be sent through the app and there will still be a facility to send SMS messages to parents and carers who do not have the app installed.

The attached leaflet shows how to download and install the MCAS App either as an app on your phone or via a web browser. In September, if you have any difficulties installing or using the app please email itsupport@ashmoleacademy.org and we will assist you.

If you have recently changed your email address or mobile telephone number, please let us know so we can update our records. You will only be able to register for the app if the contact details that you enter match the details we hold in our school information system.
