Public Examinations Contingency Dates:

Please note that the governing body for exams, Ofqual, have announced that there will be a contingency day of Wednesday 25^th June 2025, plus an additional half-day contingency session on the afternoon of Wednesday 11^th June 2025.

This means that in the highly unlikely event of national disruption to a day of examinations in summer 2025, the affected examinations might, as a last resort, be rescheduled by the exam boards in liaison with the Department for Education. It is possible that one or more timetable date could be affected following the disruption, up to and including Wednesday 25^th June 2025. If examinations were to be rescheduled, the affected candidates would be expected to make themselves available.
