Ashmole Trust was formed in 2015 building upon the success of Ashmole Academy and its tradition of outstanding school performance. The Trust currently consists of a primary and secondary school and has future expansion plans.  

Ashmole Academy is a forward-looking, high achieving secondary school with an excellent team of staff.   The school has an excellent reputation within the local community with strong support from governors, parents and pupils.   We currently have approximately 1900 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 600.  Our examination results are consistently high, and the Academy remains heavily oversubscribed every year. The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.


Weekend Barista

6 hours per week, 30 working weeks

Fixed 1 year contract

Pay point 15 Actual Salary £2,510

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Barista to operate our 6th Form café on one day during the weekend.  If you are interested in being considered for this position you will need:

  • Exceptional standards in all aspects of food service; attention to detail is vital.
  • To provide high quality coffee and food products to all customers
  • To ensure that the operation is compliant with the Academy’s Food Safety Policy
  • Good communication and IT skills.
  • Innovative person with a positive outgoing disposition and a ‘can do’ approach.
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate which will need to be maintained.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety.

Catering Assistant

40 hours per week, 40 working weeks

Pay point 12  Actual Salary £21,272

We are now looking for a General Kitchen Assistant to join the kitchen team.  This position includes:

  • Simple cooking duties.
  • The serving of meals and operating of a touchscreen till.
  • General kitchen and dining room duties e.g. washing-up and the setting up and the clearing away of equipment as well as dining tables and chairs.
  • The cleaning of the kitchen and it’s surround and equipment.
  • To be aware of customer needs.
  • Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager to ensure that food is prepared, cooked and served in a safe manner.
  • Under the direction of the Kitchen Manager to comply with food hygiene legislation and health and safety legislation.
