During the 1st half term all Yr. 7 & 8 students in PE took part in a new activity of Sports Hall Athletics in the PE curriculum. This then culminated in both Year Groups have their own Sportshall Athletics competition where students took part in a competition in the various individual, relay and field based activities. There were two victorious forms (7/N1 & 8/J1) from this along with many outstanding performances from individual students. The outstanding performers from the Ashmole event were then selected to represent the school at the Barnet Sportshall Athletics.  The boys and the girls took part in their separate championships at Q.E. Girls and again there many outstanding performances, resulting  in the following overall team results.

Yr 7 Boys - 3rd

Yr 7 Girls - 1st 

Yr 8 Girls - 3rd

Yr 8 Boys - 1st

The successful two teams now go on to represent the borough of Barnet at the London Youth Games in February next year at Harrow Sports Centre, with hopefully more success!
