  • Sixth Form Open Evening Information

    Please join us for our Sixth Form Open Evening on Thursday 7th November 2024.  Our Sixth form team will speak at 6.00pm for internal students currently on roll at the Academy then at 6.45pm & 7.30pm for students intending to apply and join our Sixth Form in Year 12.

    You are also invited to tour the school with one of our Sixth Form student guides. Teachers and student representatives from each of the subjects we offer in the Sixth Form will be available for you to meet and share information about their subjects and studying at Ashmole Academy Sixth Form. Our pastoral team will also be available to talk about wider school life and the opportunities we offer.

    Find out about our Ashmolean Scholar Programme, designed for curious minds to enrich your Sixth Form experience and prepare you for life beyond Ashmole.

    Entry to the speeches for external applicants requires a ticket and these can be reserved below.

  • Early Closing/Late Start Information Re: Open Evening 10th October:

    Thursday 10th October:
    Students will be dismissed at the end of period 3 at 12.30pm.  All students will be asked to leave the school site by 12.40pm. 
     
    Friday 11th October, school will begin slightly later than usual.  Students should arrive for their second registration of the day at their usual time, detailed below:
     
    o        11am (Years 10, 11 & 12)
    o        11.15am (Years 7, 8, 9 & 13)

  • Open Evening Thursday 10th October 2024

    Our open evening is taking place on Thursday 10th October 2024.

    The school will be open to visitors from 6.30pm, and you may book a time to hear the Head Teacher's speech at 6.30pm (gates open from 6.15pm), 7.15pm or at 8.15pm via the following link: 
     
    Only parents/carers with a valid ticket to the Head Teacher's speech will be admitted into the hall. A recording of this will be available on the school website after the event.

    Guided tours of all areas of the school will be given by students throughout the evening.  Pupils’ work will be on display.  Staff will be available in teaching areas to talk with parents and address any questions or concerns. 

    Parking within the school grounds will be limited to disabled parking permit holders.  Other prospective parents are advised to walk if possible.  Access roads must be kept clear.

    We look forward to seeing you on Thursday 10th October.
